Antique Airplane Foundation, Inc. EAA-VAA Chapter 3
Who we
are & What we do
The Vintage Airplane Association is a Division of The Experimental
Aircraft Association. We are a regional Chapter of VAA and
incorporated under the NC, SC, VA Antique Airplane Foundation, Inc.
name. Our members live in all of South and Mid Atlantic States.
Although our Chapter’s primary focus is on Antiques from 1903 (yes,
..a member has one…) thru Contemporary Class (now thru 1972), we
encourage all enthusiasts of sport aviation to join us. The Chapter
has been in existence since the mid 1960’s.
membership
application
We put on two major fly-ins each year,
publish six newsletters of member activities each year, and generate
additional excuses to go fly and be together ...our Fly-outs!
Our membership has a vast background in restoration and operation of
all types of sport aircraft.
Members share these resources to aid their projects and preserve
aviation history.

VAA
Chapter 3 and AUA, Inc.
The NC, SC, VA Antique Airplane Foundation (VAA Chapter 3) has no
business or contractual agreements with AUA. The owners and staff of
AUA are among the most fervent supporters of sport aviation
anywhere. Read their bios! Norma and Butch Joyce have been long time
members of our Chapter. They have very graciously offered a portion
of their web site for the convenience of our members and those
interested in learning of our activities. Thank you, AUA
from VAA Chapter 3! |
