1975. Became a Licensed agent in 1979. Purchased AUA, Inc. in
1986 always specializing in Aviation Insurance.
Education: Graduated from Severna Park H.S., Severna Park,
Md., Alabama Technical College and Enterprise Jr. College,
Enterprise, Al.
Interests:
Spending time with my family. Golf, even though I am not
very good.

Insurance Experience: 20
years of experience with commercial insurance & bonding
companies, 11 years specializing in aviation related
insurance, where 45 years of aviation experience as an airport
owner, aircraft owner and pilot with commercial, multi engine
instrument rating has been a great asset for AUA, Inc.
customers.
Education: My education background consists of Gardner-Webb
College, Boiling Springs, NC (Business back ground), US Army
Special Forces School, Tour with the US Army Special Forces
1964 until 1970 proudly wearing the "Green Beret", NACE Certified Inspector, Houston, TX; NAAA certified aircraft
appraiser, and the Rendleman School agents license,
Greensboro, NC.
Interests: My personal interest are Aviation, flying our
Cessna 182 and Luscombe 8E. Golf and traveling
in our motor coach.
Associations
I am the past National President of the EAA Vintage Aircraft
Association, an VAA National Director, EAA Board of Directors
member Emeritus. I ‘am a past president of the EAA Chapter #8,
Greensboro, NC, member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots
Association since 1955; member of the Aircraft Insurance
Association; I am a 32 degree Mason and a member of the QB
Greensboro Hanger. |

aircraft insurance. Currently in insurance sales handling a
wide variety of aircraft accounts.

Attended Forsyth Community College in HVAC. Policeman in
Winston-Salem, NC for 10 years, was coach training new
officers for 6 years. Attended various law enforcement schools
including Northwestern University. Full-time civil service
with the Army National Guard for 10 years with rank of
Sergeant First Class. Attends insurance classes yearly at
Guilford Technical College and the Rendleman Insurance
Courses.
